Van Rensburgs Properties recently concluded sales transactions of two business properties in the CBD of George, with a total selling price of R20 000 000. The properties consisted of mixed tenanted buildings that offered competitive rental income and attractive returns on investment. Van Rensburgs has also been appointed as managing agents for the properties sold and is very excited to add value to the investments made by the new owners.

“It is encouraging for the financial and property sectors and property owners alike, to see this kind of interest in CBD properties, this whilst development has switched in an easterly direction towards the Garden Route Mall over the past couple of years” say Daniel van Schalkwyk, head of property development and management at Van Rensburgs.

Louis van Rensburg, the dealer principal and also well-known auctioneer concluded “the revamp and conversion of the previous Halfway Toyota building in Courtenay Street into AAA Business / commercial property (now known as Dynarc), as well as the revamp of 1 Caledon Place (on the corner of Davidson and Caledon Street), are all attributing to the slow-moving revival of the town’s CBD, which, after all is the heart of George’s business sector”.

Van Rensburg can be contacted on 044 878 2877.
